Sister Sandra Makowski, author of “The Side of Kindness: Recovering the Lost Art of Being Kind” met with me over lunch during my stay in Charleston. She is the Chancellor of the Charleston Roman Catholic Diocese. How kind it was of her to take the time out of her busy day to meet with me. I am about to start reading her book and I am excited to delve into it.
Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide
In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.

September 14th, 2015South Carolina seems to have more than its fair share of kind people. Shawn and Terri of Summerville were giving themselves a tour of the outside of the Kindness Bus as I walked up to them. What a very caring couple they are. They spend their days looking to do three big acts of kindness each and every day along with other small acts of kindness. Love it!!
