An 8 year ride for kids

Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide

In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
My mission on this ride has but one focus: To save kids lives.

Fourteen Years of Healing

September 11th, 2015

9-11-15

Most of the children I visit in schools across the country weren’t born before 9/11/2001. High school seniors were in pre-school on that date. Fourteen years have slipped by so quickly but the memories of that day never will. Please take some time today to do some good for the world. It sure would help with the healing.

Special Delivery PKG

It has been 14 months since the Kindness Bus made it cross country from California to Indiana. It took just the right timing, funding and driver availability to make the final leg into Blacksburg, Virginia. What a special delivery it was. Written on the side of the Kindness Bus for the past 5 years are the words: Special Delivery PKG. The PKG stands for Patience, Kindness and Gratitude. How fitting is that?!

Lauren my niece and Mason my nephew have had a big interest in the Kindness Bicycle for the past four years. It didn’t take too long at all to have them convince me to take a ride. They were pros right from the start.
