One of my biggest supporters and cheerleaders for my mission has passed from this life. I lovingly referred to her as an “earthly angel.”
This beautiful being has gone on to now be a heavenly angel, watching over my journey. Much love to you Patti. We both knew Jesus would be waiting for you with open arms.

These girls loved the new frame and obviously were very creative in posing in it. What a great way to spend our last day in Naples before we a start heading north.
Thank you to Jackie Pierce for making the trip from Marco Island to Naples to meet with me and discuss my mission with her. Jackie heads the Women’s Club of Marco Island and is a big supporter of trying to raise awareness for and put an end to domestic violence. She was thrilled that I road across the United States raising awareness for that issue.
During our meeting, she expressed her keen interest in helping me with my annual undertaking of Collier County Kindness Awareness Celebration on Marco. I am thrilled to say the least.
What a wonderful opportunity to meet with some of the residents and most of the staff at Youth Haven in Collier County. This facility takes in neglected, abused and homeless youth from this region. They love the fact that the Kindness Bus Tour visits Collier County each year. I have been invited back to talk to all of the students and staff next fall. I can hardly contain my excitement.
I’m always looking for creative ways to interact with people along my travels. One thing I have been noticing on social media is when people hold a picture frame up to promote their endeavor. I have decided to create one of these frames and will start using it on a regular basis. The photo today is of a mock-up of how the actual frame will look. This will certainly be a fun addition to the Kindness Bus Tour.

Today I spent a few hours signing Bogart’s first book in Old Naples, Florida. Emma, who was our first customer today, told her grandfather, who she was with, all about our visit to her school and having kindness as a goal.
The crowds were a little bit slim today, however we still had 12 very happy customers, some of them decided that the books would make great Easter basket stuffers.

Bogart is my travel companion on The Kindness Bus Tour for the next ten years. We will be on the road traveling to campuses across the country. Bogart is a eight year old Boston Terrier. He is a great people dog... he loves meeting new people. I am Bogart's fourth owner in his short 8 years of life... Not because of him but because his three previous owner's lifestyles changed after they took him in... Lucky for me!! Bogart is the luckiest, most spoiled dog on the face of the earth. He loves the bus and he loves to travel. Please come and visit him when we are on your campus.
The Blue Bird Corporation donated this amazing bus to One Million Acts of Kindness, allowing us the continue this initiative. It has been painted to closely resemble the original Kindness Bus. It will last well beyond the ten years of this mission. A very big thank you to Blue Bird from Bob Votruba and Bogart too!!
The original Kindness bus has been donated to a professor at Virginia Tech who will use it on campus and at schools in the Blacksburg area. The Kindness Bus will continue to inspire and comfort residents, students and visitors in that area for years to come.
One Million Acts Of Kindness is a goal. A goal for each person to individually perform One Million Acts Of Kindness in their life. Can you imagine a greater goal for one's life? It is a constant mind-set of kindness every day of your life for the next fifty-five years. Doing for others and kindness in your heart for everyone. It is my wish that you will dedicate your life to a charity... finding the passion in your heart for something or someone in need.
As a father of three college age kids I am concerned for the world in which all kids will live. A great way to create a safer, more caring world is for everyone to start their lifetime goal of One Million Acts Of Kindness. So I bought a bus, had about sixty family members, friends and neighbors help paint it and began a ten year journey with my Boston Terrier, Bogart, to college campuses across the country hoping to convince as many of you as possible about this much needed movement for this world. I love you guys too much to sit back and not do anything about this. Let's start a kindness movement in this country today to change the direction this world is headed!! You are the change that this world needs.
