In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of summer, it is important to remember the freedoms we have and why we are able to celebrate those freedoms.
Hundreds of thousands of men and women have given their lives to provide freedom for all of us.
It was a privilege to do my small part today in honoring these brave men and women by placing flags at veteran’s grave sites at a local cemetery here in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is an annual visit for me every time I am in Northeast, Ohio. One of the most important messages taught to children of this community is to stop hatred across our world.
Everyone of us as adults need to help our children understand this very important message. Hats off to this museum for keeping the message of stopping hatred in the minds of all of us

Everywhere I have traveled across the nation I am so grateful to have a police presence in the cities and states I visit. Knowing that they are there to protect and serve and keep us all safe from harm gives me peace of mind.
Every year, for a week in mid June it is National Police Week. Honoring those who have given their lives in the line of duty is the reason for this weeklong celebration. I try to do my part in honoring whenever I can

Thank you to Linda Kinsey for helping to saturate northeast Ohio newspapers with a story about One Million Acts of Kindness. Bogart and I love all the press we can muster to help spread our grassroots mission.
This wonderful, People and their Pets feature is a very popular subject matter across the country.

Thank you to Michael Drops, education and training specialist of The Arc in greater Cleveland. This national organization, founded 60 years ago, helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Because so many of these individuals are bullied I made sure to visit their offices to talk to Michael in great detail about helping to put an end to bullying.
Putting people first, The Arc believes that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities and inherent value, not by their disability.

Whenever you have snowfall in the month of May in Cleveland, Ohio it tends to be big news. Whenever you have Bogart standing next to a mini-snowman in May in Cleveland it is VERY big news.
A local news channel, WKYC posted this photo on their Facebook account and the photo had over 2 million views. There is certainly something to this wonder dog named Bogart.

One of my favorite stops as I travel the country is to visit Excel TECC open house at Mayfield Heights High School in Ohio. Friend, Rick Zivny instructs his students during the course of the school year in building prototype houses. This year’s theme was tiny houses and the Kindness Bus provided the perfect backdrop and example of a fully functional tiny house. Nearly 300 students and parents were thrilled to learn of the Kindness Bus Tour’s adventure.
