Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide
In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
My mission on this ride has but one focus: To save kids lives.

Bogart is a big supporter of open space. He loves to be off-leash when allowed, so he can go out and explore, pick up a scent, chase some critters and bark at birds. Combat the Silence

JC and her mom Kelly, a Jackson, Wyoming middle school teacher, pulled over to flag me down as I was riding along. Both mom and daughter are involved in “Combat the Silence” which gives voice to those who are troubled including those with special needs and also addressing many other local issues.

I love learning about cool kids. This young man is a really cool kid. He stands up for kids with special needs in his town. One of his best friends, Jacob has autism and he helps him in times of need. It’s great to see kids realizing when someone is in need and then standing up for them.

I am honored, amazed, and blessed with such wonderful abundance to have three children in my life.
My daughter Lizzie lives in Jackson, Wyoming and I have been able to spend lots of time with her recently, meeting her friends, workmates, and neighbors, all the while encouraging her to put roots down in this beautiful town which suits her to a T.
It has been a joy to see my young daughter transform into such a kind, caring, beautiful woman every step of the way.

High Functioning

With high functioning autism, LeAnn finds it challenging to hold down a job at times. She was happy to learn of our ride for those with special needs. It is always nice to hear these heartwarming stories of local businesses who offer jobs to those with special needs while giving them a hand up.
