Today I had the honor of visiting Lake Park Elementary school in Naples, Florida. The 500+ students and faculty were treated to kindness assemblies this morning. I love when the kids listen to the assemblies and then ask me all sorts of creative questions. Most of the questions pertain to Bogart, imagine that.

Two weeks from tomorrow is One Million Acts of Kindness Week. People around the globe or asked to do something for the community they live in. You can do something as a group or as an individual. See what you can do to make a change for the better in your community.

The Kiwanis of East Naples kindly invited me to be the speaker at their breakfast meeting. This dozen or so business people who help in a very big way with charitable causes in Collier County are to be commended for their diligent work. This was a great way for me to connect with the business community in the Naples area and extend my reach for next years Collier County Kindness Awareness Day.

 I could tell from the moment I arrived on this campus how kind the students are. I think every single student who make contact with me said good morning at the beginning of the day and thank you at the end of the day. Someone is certainly doing a great job with the students, both at home and in school.
There are many kindness projects being undertaken at the same time at the school keeping a continual mindset of being kind. What a very nice visit to this campus.

Three kindness programs to the students at Laurel Oak Elementary school was all it took to put the students in a great mood and thinking about kindness for the rest of their school day. These students really paid attention to all the messages in our assemblies. There was such wonderful interaction between the students and Bogart. This is one very kind campus. Thank you to all.

It was nearly an hour’s drive to Immokalee, Florida. Seeing these nearly 900 students with their smiling faces, fielding their wonderful questions and realizing their caring attitudes made it well worth the drive.
Three assemblies of classes K – 5 took us right up to lunchtime.
I felt like a celebrity when nearly every student tried to sit at my lunch table. It was a very welcoming group.

Once again the students, faculty and parents gave us a huge welcome to their school. We talked with many grandparents and students before their kindness assembly began. Songs and kindness stories were the order of the day. This is always such a welcoming place. Of course Bogert stole the show!
