What a wonderful family from Saint Armand’s, Florida. Deborah and her sons “Dan Stan the man” and Walter David were so excited to meet Bogart and the man driving the Kindness bus.
It was Deborah’s birthday and she was thrilled to start the day with such excitement.

This winter while in Florida Bogart and I are going to concentrate on our efforts of visiting neighborhoods hoping to connect parents and children with our messages of kindness, compassion, respect, human to human comfort, gratitude and others.
Thank you to the Dooney family for the warm welcome back to Naples, Florida. Bogart and their dog Lucky had a great time taking turns chasing each other.
Saint Mark’s preschool on Marco Island, Florida invited me to come and visit to read Bogart’s new book: It’s Always a Good Time to Make a New Friend…many smiles and giggles in the crowd. It is very clear that Bogart has a big hit on his hands…I mean paws.
One of my favorite WW11 veterans spent a little time with me in Naples, Florida. Thank you for your service to our country Walter. He has such a kind caring heart and always a complementary word. He was able to keep up with me and Bogart most of our way around the 1 mile lake.
Collier County Kindness Awareness Day has turned into an eight day celebration in January 2017. The Kindness Bus Tour is back in Naples and would love for your business or organization to take part in this annual event. A new business in Naples, Aloe Salon and Spa is the first business to decide to take part in this event. I met them today and walked away with a great hairstyle. Owner Stephanie and stylists Nikki and Tiffany were so caring, kind and welcoming. All three of them knew of One Million Acts of Kindness already. Stephanie’s two children age 6 and 8 attend Lely Elementary School and have already already seen our program at their school. It is so awesome when parents know of our mission through their children’s school programs.
Rick and Danuta Cordary kindly invited Bogart and me into their home for dinner and conversation with neighbors and friends while in Hollywood, Florida. This very kind couple pulled out all the stops, cooking a sumptuous early Thanksgiving dinner with all sorts of breads, pastries, desserts and wonderful dishes from Danuta’s Polish heritage. For me it was truly second to none. I would have had several second helpings, but am trying to watch my calories…bummer!

Bogart is my travel companion on The Kindness Bus Tour for the next ten years. We will be on the road traveling to campuses across the country. Bogart is a eight year old Boston Terrier. He is a great people dog... he loves meeting new people. I am Bogart's fourth owner in his short 8 years of life... Not because of him but because his three previous owner's lifestyles changed after they took him in... Lucky for me!! Bogart is the luckiest, most spoiled dog on the face of the earth. He loves the bus and he loves to travel. Please come and visit him when we are on your campus.
The Blue Bird Corporation donated this amazing bus to One Million Acts of Kindness, allowing us the continue this initiative. It has been painted to closely resemble the original Kindness Bus. It will last well beyond the ten years of this mission. A very big thank you to Blue Bird from Bob Votruba and Bogart too!!
The original Kindness bus has been donated to a professor at Virginia Tech who will use it on campus and at schools in the Blacksburg area. The Kindness Bus will continue to inspire and comfort residents, students and visitors in that area for years to come.
One Million Acts Of Kindness is a goal. A goal for each person to individually perform One Million Acts Of Kindness in their life. Can you imagine a greater goal for one's life? It is a constant mind-set of kindness every day of your life for the next fifty-five years. Doing for others and kindness in your heart for everyone. It is my wish that you will dedicate your life to a charity... finding the passion in your heart for something or someone in need.
As a father of three college age kids I am concerned for the world in which all kids will live. A great way to create a safer, more caring world is for everyone to start their lifetime goal of One Million Acts Of Kindness. So I bought a bus, had about sixty family members, friends and neighbors help paint it and began a ten year journey with my Boston Terrier, Bogart, to college campuses across the country hoping to convince as many of you as possible about this much needed movement for this world. I love you guys too much to sit back and not do anything about this. Let's start a kindness movement in this country today to change the direction this world is headed!! You are the change that this world needs.
