Thank you to Lenine from Canada for sharing his story about his son who has cystic fibrosis. This seven-year-old who has to wear a breathing tube is verbally and physically bullied. This is worst form of bullying, bullying someone because of a perceived difference or a disability.
This coming spring I am going to address this issue in a very big way. I will be making plans for this over the next three months. Stay tuned.
Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide
In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
The Worst Form of Bullying
December 8th, 2016Santa Bogart
December 6th, 2016I try to take Bogart for a walk twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening when the heat of the day is at a minimum. The further we get into December, the more Christmas lights we are starting to see. Very often Bogart thinks these are living things and has a very keen interest past the displays and inflatables. I hope it isn’t too frightening for him because he always cautiously approaches all the yard displays along our walks.

December 2nd, 2016Hope Springs Eternal
November 30th, 2016Spring Hope is a partner in kindness in our annual “Spring into Kindness” on the first day of spring each year. She is always up to all kinds of goodness all year long.
Spring is a retired military veteran who bought all of these fine animals since January 2016 to veterans of our country. She helps support the Spring into Kindness Campaign established in 2012. Every first day of Spring, she’s at the Santa Monica Pier with free bouquets and fortune cookies.
Boca Grand
November 28th, 2016Some of the greatest moments on my journey are when I come across individuals who have seen or heard of our mission. We have a big connect with firefighters and law-enforcement across the country. One of my cross country bicycle rides raise awareness for these role models. I had to stop at this firehouse at Boca Grande, Florida knowing we had been seen previously.
