In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.

The Arc believes in self-determination and self-advocacy. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with appropriate resources and supports, can make decisions about their own lives and must be heard on issues that affect their well-being.
We will stop at many of the Arc facilities across the nation to lend support.

Thank you to a very brave Alex, who has Tourette’s syndrome, for coming over with his father, Sean, to talk to me about all sorts of great things he can do for others, all the while helping himself

The Naples Therapeutic Riding Center helps those with special needs achieve things they never thought possible. Thank you to Robyn, Mo, and Pick-A-Spot (pictured) for the ‘red carpet treatment’ tour of this wonderful facility.

Needing a part to repair the Kindness Bus, Bogart and I are traveling by an improvised Kindness Car for the next few days. If you look closely you can see the Kindness Bike squeezed into the back half of the car. Bogart has an amazing way of adapting wonderfully.

Logan had been talking with his mother Sherry a few days ago about how when he is older, he wants to travel the country doing nice things for people. He couldn’t believe it when he saw the Kindness Bus pull into the park where their family was having a picnic.
He wants to take a dog with him as well.

Gerry has been doing missionary work for the past 30 years. In Haiti for the past 15 years, he has adopted and cares for 49 children, providing them housing, clothing, and food to help bring them out of the abject poverty they would have remained in throughout their lifetimes. God bless you Gerry.
