An 8 year ride for kids

Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide

In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
My mission on this ride has but one focus: To save kids lives.

Red Carpet Treatment

Thank you to Louise and Armando for being such gracious hosts while Bogart and I stayed at their home in Stamford, Connecticut. This is my second time staying with them, we always have such fun interacting with each other. This was Bogart’s first time and he ended up taking over all of Lucy and Allie’s toys, I’m wondering if we will be invited back.

Old Greenwich, Connecticut

Tomorrow is his last day of high school. I am honored that Will stopped by to learn more about One Million Acts Of Kindness at such a wonderful point in his life. He loved the fact that the Kindness Bus taught many of the same lessons he has learned in Greenwich High School. (The photo was taken from a Facebook live feed, I wish it were a better quality.)

Brian, Kindness ambassador from Stamford, Connecticut helped with our time in his city with overseeing our parking right in the downtown area to get the most exposure from the locals and visitors. Thank you Brian for being so kind!

Chef Piergiorgio is a big supporter and follower of One Million Acts of Kindness. He loves cooking sumptuous dishes for Bogart and of course me as well whenever we are in town. Bogart had succulent white meat turkey off the bone. I had a wonderful presentation of garlic infused sautéed spinach with shoots of asparagus and grilled heirloom tomatoes. Thank you to The Goose.

ADNP Kids

May 9th, 2017

5-9

A moment I will carry in my heart is when Genie and her son Rowland, who has a rare disability called ADNP, spent time on the Kindness Bus singing the “Wheels on the Bus” song, making the horn go beep beep beep, the wipers go swish swish swish and, the wheels go round round round while Rowland bounced up and down. Rowland has such an amazing smile and laugh that is very contagious.

Honest Abe

Honest Abe is definitely stylin’ on the Kindness Bicycle. Without a doubt, I can see him doing something like this.

Epic Martial Arts

Thank you to Epic Martial Arts owner Michelle Del Giorno for inviting me to the dojo today to talk to three classes of students with their parents on hand. What a wonderful impact it had on all of us, learning to treat each other with respect, compassion, kindness, and comfort for those who are having a challenge in life. Thank you to everyone. What a wonderful community Michelle has created.
