When you receive a note like this, you realize all the work of promoting Collier County Kindness Awareness Week is well worth the time spent:
“Today you came to my school and showed us your program, poem, and Bogart. I am the little 5th grader girl who said Thank you and you’ve inspired me to do more. I have been doing 50 acts of kindness a day.”
Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide
In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
Well Worth It
January 14th, 2018Great Groups of Students
January 13th, 2018650 students from Gulf Coast Charter Academy South in Naples, Florida wrote letters to first responders and seniors as wonderful acts of kindness. We visited their campus today and did several kindness programs out and around the Kindness Bus. It was huge fun for everyone. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making today’s visit a great success.
