Thank you to Mr. Searle and all the students at Kew Green Preparatory in London for having me stop by for a visit.
It was a very nice talk for these students who are about to begin their summer break.

I was invited to talk to the firemen at the Heston and Isleworth Fire Station, on the outskirts of London. Some of these men have young children so they have been very interested as the Kindness Bicycle has passed by their station on a number of occasions.
I loved talking with them about my current ride and they were “all ears” when we discussed my ride for Heroes: Wounded Warriors and Police & Firefighters killed in the line of duty

Riding through London, there is never a moment where someone does not have the Kindness Bicycle in view. Usually, there are dozens of pairs of eyes on this popular bicycle.
Today I was flagged down by Douglas Potter and Peggy who wanted to know if I was part of the Tour de France, which is in London today. I had to repay his fun remark with a retort of asking if he had any influence in the Harry Potter book series. We had a good laugh over both.
Both Douglas and Peggy thought that my visit to their city was paying huge dividends. I told them I agreed completely.

Daughter, Lizzie was chosen by her professor at Durham University in England to research encouraging people to head outdoors and enjoy the heritage and archaeology of this beautiful country. Hadrian’s Wall is her assignment location. The professor made a very wise choice for sure!
Every one of us has the freedom to do something incredible for others…will we?

The fastest cyclists in the world will be in London for one day next week.
The most important bicycle in the world is in London as well. I don’t ride too fast…the slower the better is best for what I do.
I will try to find a prime spot for viewing and being viewed as the cyclists ride by.
