In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
My mission on this ride has but one focus: To save kids lives.

Volunteering is one of the greatest acts of kindness on Thanksgiving. Saint Matthew’s House in Collier County, Florida will serve 1,000 meals today. It would not happen without people who take the time to volunteer..

Volunteer Week

Thanksgiving week, every year for me is where I take the time to volunteer. This year, because I am still recovering from retina surgeries, I will do a letter writing campaign to police officers to thank them for their work. Here are the words I am writing on the back of my Heroes flyer:

Hats off to Susanna Tocco in Naples, Florida for creating the Facebook page for Collier County Kindness Awareness Day this coming January 14th. She does so many kind acts for the Collier County community. Her current “drive” is to raise funds for 25 families who don’t have the money to buy a Christmas tree for their homes. Susanna does incredible acts of kindness like this all year long.
