An 8 year ride for kids

Put an end to Bullying & Adolescent Suicide

In year 3 of this mission, I introduced a bicycle ride to my travels to raise
awareness about issues kids are having to deal with at far too young an age.
Bullying and Adolescent Suicide are two of these challenging burdens most kids
will unfairly have to overcome throughout the remainder of their lives. At rides
end we will have ridden enough miles to traveled the perimeter of the earth, twice.
My mission on this ride has but one focus: To save kids lives.

Special Needs Volunteers

March 25th, 2018

3-25

Thank you to this great looking group of volunteers of Habitat for Humanity in Collier County for letting me share some stories with them. Their special needs do not stop them from being volunteers. They are an example of what, compassion for others, is to all of us. Thank you Mandy, Christopher, Ernest and Miss Rita (who took this picture)

Loving Mom

March 24th, 2018

3-24

Thank you to Kelly who had a deep interest in my mission to raise awareness for those with special needs. She has an adult son who through her comfort as a mother to him, is able to live a fairly normal life. A loving mom makes all the difference in the world.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who took part in Spring into Kindness day. I hope whomever you surprised with kindness, inspired both you and them to continue these actions every day.

Kindness Surprise

March 22nd, 2018

3-22

Thank you to the Murray – White family for stopping by and telling me about their plans to surprise others no matter if it is “Spring into Kindness” day or not. Great family of kind individuals.

Hokies on the Road

March 21st, 2018

3-21

Great connecting with Larissa and Alex, students at VIrginia Tech. Both Larissa and Alex had no idea that the One Million Acts of Kindness mission was born out of the tragedy that took place on that campus nearly 11 years ago on April 16th, 2007. They were thrilled to hear that awareness is still occurring. #VirginiaTech

Spring into Kindness Day

March 20th, 2018

3-20

Today is “Spring into Kindness” day which is always on the first day of spring. On this day you are asked to surprise someone with an act of kindness, someone outside your circle of friends. I donated a pint of blood and the nurse assured me that it would already be in use at the hospital tomorrow in the form of platelets, plasma, and whole blood. I hope someone is surprised in a very good way because of this donation. Thank you Annalee for making my donation a pleasure.

Everyone Remembers Bogart

March 19th, 2018

3-19

Three students of our kindness programs from the Collier County Schools were so excited to see Bogart. They assured me they have been being kind and it certainly showed with the way they loved Bogart.
