On January 14th, 2015, two hundred days from now, Kindness Awareness Day in Collier County, Florida takes place.
This is some of the wording on the flyer which will be handed out throughout the community, sent via the internet and social media:
The Collier County Commissioners have proclaimed January 14th to be Kindness Awareness Day. On this day, businesses, schools, organizations, families and individuals are asked to have an awareness for kindness. We hope you will get involved in some wonderful way of your choice, to help in this community. It is never too early to start planning what you can do.
As with any day that is created to raise awareness, we hope that this day becomes a springboard for your business, school, organization, family, or you as an individual, to go forward in some meaningful way help to make this world a better place, in your own creative way, every day going forward.
Thank you to the many people who have helped to create this wonderful day and to help in its implementation. This day would not exist without you.
