Glenn and his son Jordan stopped by this afternoon. I love seeing parents and children together when school is out on break. I invited Jordan to write on the Kindness Bus, his words, “Always be kind.”

Marjory Stoneman Douglas campus was my last stop of the day last Friday. I talked with students, teachers, parents, and residents of Parkland, Florida. Rick and Baptista stopped by on their bikes. Baptista said one of the hardest things was the wait to make sure his son was ok. It is my wish that I was able to offer a bit of comfort to those I spoke with.

One week from today is the 7th annual Spring into Kindness Day!
This annual event takes place on the first day of spring. On this day, those who participate are asked to surprise someone with an act of kindness. You are asked to challenge yourself to do this act of kindness for someone you normally don’t associate with in your circle of friends. This event is guaranteed to create new friendships.

The visits to all 46 FCB locations to talk to the team members about kindness was a huge success. I really enjoyed myself meeting so many caring individuals. Thank you to everyone for rolling out the red carpet during our travels these past three weeks.

Jenny and her two daughters, Emma and Ella, were taking photos by the Kindness Bus, so I introduced myself and after talking with them, sent them on their way with their personalized copies of Bogart’s children’s books. Jenny loves talking to her two daughters about putting kind words into action.
