10-16-15

One of the most important things any one of us can do is to help save a life by donating blood. It’s an act of kindness that only takes about an hour of your time. I encourage anyone to make an appointment to donate in the very near future. The Red Cross makes it very easy, all you have to do is dial 1 800 GIVE LIFE

You Made My Day

10-14-15

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting Jack, a World War II Marine Corps combat veteran today in Naples, Florida. The Purple Heart pin attached to his hat sums up the incredible constitution of this proud American.
I told him of my upcoming 1,600 mile perimeter ride around the state of Florida to honor Veterans. He told me, “you made my day.” I told him veterans made our lives. Thank you for your service to our country, Jack.

Students Wanting to Know

10-12-15

In a thirty minute period, two individuals turned their cars around and caught up to me as I was riding the Kindness Bicycle. Connie and John, in the first car, graduated from Lely High School in Naples this past year. We had a very wonderful conversation about all the great things that they can do in their lives going forward. They told me it was well worth the detour they made to learn of my mission.
Logan, who is in a local university turned his pick up truck around to tell me about his high school life. He told me how he now realizes that he was causing harm to others as a bully and that he wishes he had never done this. He has vowed to help others who are in the losing end of a bullying situation. I am very proud of these three individuals.

Allie Vann was in a bad way a few years ago because of bullying at her high school…until she found the Kindness Bus. She is now in college and I received a wonderful letter from her expressing her desire to tell her story and help others who are in need of comforting words and actions.
“I just want to get involved in anyway that will help others. I feel like its what I’m meant to do with my life in some way or another!”
I love stuff like this!!
