I had the honor of meeting World War II Air Force First Lieutenant Richard Thackston as I rode through Collier County. What a wonderful conversation we had. He talked of his memories of World War II and how he flew missions with Jimmy Stewart and Clark Gable. This very proud American was so excited to see the Kindness Bicycle with its patriotic signs affixed.

Wednesday, October 28th, 2015Phlash Phelps has a radio show on XM Satellite Radio called 60s on 6. Every week he features a state and talks about some of the cities and fun-facts of that state. He now includes kindness recordings that I send into him which mention acts of kindness that I have witnessed as I travel across the country. His show is on weekday mornings from 6 AM till 1 PM on station 6.
Thank you Phlash from the bottom of my heart.
Naples Kindness
Monday, October 26th, 2015A huge tip of the hat to McQuaid & Company and Lois Bolin for inviting me to take part in the Naples Stone Crab Festival this weekend. Dozens of families with children who know Bogart and the Kindness Bus stopped by to talk with me and visit with Bogart. Many of them went home with a signed, personalized book of Bogart’s adventures. Thank you to all the old friends and new friends we met this past.

Tuesday, October 20th, 2015Helping to Stop Cancer
Sunday, October 18th, 2015What a great morning it was in Naples, Florida. A 5K walk to raise funds for the research of a cure for cancer was attended by hundreds of participants. Tens of thousands of dollars was raised. I talked with dozens of groups on this morning after the walk had ended. This was such a big act of kindness for each and every one of the participants and volunteers.
