Rounding the corner onto Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida, during the first few minutes of my daily ride on The Kindness Bicycle, I saw an amazing sight, it was a Kindness Rocks sticker from One Million Acts Of Kindness. I knew it was going to be a good day.
My first of many stops was to the Palm Beach Fire Station. Mike, an Assistant Chief was all ears as I told him about my current ride addressing Bullying and Adolescent Suicide, he was blown away when I told him about the previous ride for Wounded Warriors and Police & Firefighters killed in the line of duty. His Firehouse has a very impressive memorial honoring those who perished on 9/11.
I paid visits to the Palm Beach Day School and Palm Beach Elementary School to the delight of those I talked with.
Palm Beach Atlantic University was another one of my visits. I am finding that many students either know of or have had a personal connection with The Kindness Bus Tour.
The 4th annual One Million Acts Of Kindness Week is having a big impact, as groups from around the globe are helping those in need.
